Oil spill response is a service that is provided in offshore operations to respond to and mitigate the impact of oil spills that occur during oil and gas exploration, production, transportation, and storage. An oil spill can happen as a result of accidents such as pipeline ruptures, well blowouts, or tanker collisions, and can cause serious environmental damage, including harm to marine life, wildlife, and habitats.
